A new local ‘zine known as “Georgie“, is run by friend and fellow college graduate, Nathan Marshall and his comrade Ashley Champagne. Their latest issue is dedicated to the life of Nathan Matthews, and I was given the honor to write and design the article in remembrance of Nathan. You can view it online here.
It’s been 2 weeks to the day since Nathan has passed. I’m still lost for words, and am having some trouble coming to terms with his absence. I can truthfully say, if it wasn’t for Nathan’s generosity and compassion, among every other positive quality a man is capable of possessing, I would not be a graphic designer or have a similar resemblance of myself today. I’m incredibly fortunate to have known Nathan as a close friend, and miss him already. Here’s a snap Dave Bloom took of us skateboarding a couple summers ago.
As some of you may know, I just spent a month living in the Kootenays, overlooking Kootenay Lake from a cabin. It was a very eye-opening and rewarding experience. Here’s a small peak into what life was like as a mountain man for a month. These are snaps from my point and shoot digital camera. I have a few rolls of film being developed, so those will be the more anticipated photos from my trip. Enjoy.

Just launched Room 322’s newly designed online store. As I rebranded their last website, Robert, their creative director, found it appropriate to correspond the same colors and graphics with their online store. Here it is below.
Just finished a fresh new logo for Movements, an Afro-Caribbean dance ensemble here in Edmonton. Here are a few concepts along with the accepted logo in colour.
The Do Me Right cd’s finally came in, and boy am I happy how they turned out. Thanks to Mike Park for giving me the opportunity to design my first album cover. See photos below, and listen to them here. http://www.myspace.com/bombchan
